The Canine Condition
6 Episodes
The Canine Condition is a DOGumentary series inspired by the first dog adopted by creator Jacqueline Piñol and her husband Jonny Blu. Seeing how many dogs were left behind when Jacqueline and Jonny picked up their new family member from a city shelter was heartbreaking. Scared, nervous and sometimes injured, these dogs lay on cold concrete floors, behind bars waiting for a chance to get noticed. Why this alarming scenario is so prevalent in the United States and what can they do to change it? This crisis began a self-funded, grass roots journey around the country in search of the answers.
The Canine Condition will show how people of all different cultural, social, religious and political backgrounds consistently share one binding factor: their willingness to lend each other a hand to save Human’s best friend.
